Sone
Photo essay on industrial silence

The Sone foundation preserves industrial buildings nobody loves yet. They asked for photographs that would make a case for caring before the demolition orders arrived.
Approach
We shot every hall at the same hour — early, empty, available light only — so the series reads as one long room. No people, no nostalgia filters, no drama. The buildings argue for themselves.
Outcome
The series toured as an exhibition through three of the photographed buildings; one has since been listed for protection.
