Aurora

Identity for a Nordic lighting house

Aurora

Aurora makes lamps the way furniture makers once made chairs — slowly, locally, and to last decades. The brief asked for an identity that could sit comfortably in both a Copenhagen design fair and a hardware catalogue.

Approach

We built the identity around the behaviour of light itself: a wordmark that shifts weight like a dimmer, a palette sampled from colour temperature, and packaging that uses a single die-cut to reveal the product photography beneath.

Outcome

The system launched across packaging, web and showroom signage. Within a year it carried Aurora’s first international collection without a single new asset being designed.
